ABOUT US

We (Alex Heiberg and Georgia van Embden) are third year physiotherapy students at the University of the Western Cape. During our block rotations we have had the privilege of meeting incredible humans. Some of the storytellers we have met along the way want their stories to be heard and this is how "Humans of the Cape" was born.This platform shares untold stories of Mitchells Plain's community. We believe that this is a powerful tool to create awareness within and about the community, which is easily accessible to everyone. Additionally, we will post blogs about health and promotion of health about conditions that we find are prevalent in these communities.  Humans of the Cape is currently active on Instagram and Facebook.
